10 Things You Didn't Know About Mrs. Lloyd

Hello students and parents! I am excited to be starting school soon. Mrs. Younker and I have a lot of fun things planned for you. I look forward to getting to know each of you. Here are some things that will help you get to know me.

10 Things You Didn't Know About Mrs. Lloyd

10. 1 sock, 2 sock, red sock, blue sock. I love socks! I have stripes, polka dots, Halloween, Christmas, Valentine, green, blue, pink, and so many more.

9. During Christmas break in third grade, I broke my arm. I wore a red cast that said "Merry Christmas" and all my friends signed it when I went back to school. I sure hope mothing like this happens to any of you this year.

8. I love to play the piano. I have a stack of music that I play in my extra time to relax me.

7. I don't have any children yet, but I spend a lot of time being the favorite aunt to my 5 nieces and 4 nephews. Sometimes it is fun to act like a kid and be silly.

6. I donated 10 inches of my hair to Locks of Love last year, which is a place that makes wigs for kids without hair. I am now growing it out again and it might be long enough to cut again in the spring.

5. My favorite subject is math and I am very excited to be teaching it to you this year. Multiplication is so much fun to learn.

4. My favorite book in third grade was Weird Parents. I used to read it every night before I went to bed. It still makes me laugh. Doesn't everyone think that their parents are a little weird?

3. Puzzles are one of the things I can't say "No" to. I always have one I am working on, but sometimes I have a hard time sharing.

2. I still love to learn new things, especially with cooking and sewing, and I hope each of you will teach me about the things you love, and that I can help you love learning.

And finally...

1. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember and I am so happy to be able to do what I love. Starting new years and meeting new people are so exciting.

Now you know some things about me. Help me to get to know all about you this year.
